Hello Slovenia, my homeland!
My heart is overflowing with joy as I return home to Slovenia this summer, carrying the medicine that has so deeply shaped my own journey as a woman and as an artist.
Together with the beautiful Ana Kali Maat, we have created a sacred space where women can remember who they are and gently alchemise into their highest expression.
To my Slovenian sisters - and to all the beautiful women who feel called to this land- it would be the deepest honour to welcome you to my 'Sacred Queendom' at the Butterfly Garden, in the magical region of Kras.

Transformative artist Marta Lamovsek’s creates artworks that reveal the sovereign essence of those who stand before her lens.
Inside her Sacred Queendom, portraiture becomes something more than photography - it becomes a threshold. A moment where individuals step beyond the familiar image of themselves and encounter a deeper truth waiting to be embodied.
The Queendom Experience is not simply a styling and a photoshoot, but a remembering. She is creating the Art of Remembrance.
A return to one's divine essence and the many archetypal forces that live within us. Through this process, participants often step into a new timeline of self-expression - one that feels more powerful, more authentic, and more alive.
A distinctive signature of Marta’s work is her intuitive weaving of fabrics, symbols, ornaments and found treasures gathered from markets, vintage shops, and tribal cultures around the world. These elements become part of a visual mythology - honoring the multi-layered, multi-cultural nature of the human spirit.
Her rare gift lies in the way she sees people - deeply, beyond the surface. In that space of witnessing, something shifts. People soften, open, and begin to embody parts of themselves they may have long forgotten.
To enter this space is to step into a living ritual of self-revelation.

About Marta Lamovšek
Marta Lamovšek - Slovenian born, the creator of Sacred Queendom is a transformative portrait artist, a space holder, and creative guide whose work exists at the intersection of portraiture, art, ritual, and inner remembrance.
With a background in fashion and transformative fine art photography and years of working intimately with individuals through archetypal embodiment, Marta has developed a unique approach to creativity as a living, relational medicine.Her work is rooted in the belief that art is not something we produce, but something we enter—a portal through which the Inner Child, ancestral memory, and authentic self are gently revealed.
Drawing inspiration from indigenous traditions, symbolism, and somatic presence, Marta creates immersive spaces where participants are invited to play, soften, and reconnect with parts of themselves long held beneath layers of adulthood and conditioning.
What distinguishes Marta’s facilitation is her rare ability to hold both aesthetic mastery and emotional safety. She brings a refined visual language together with deep attunement, allowing participants to feel seen, respected, and free to explore vulnerability without pressure or performance.
